Report on the Osages. [1770] Treaty of 1865 provides for sale of lands in Kansas at $1.25 per acre; treaty of 1868 would have sold the same land to a railroad company for $.20 per acre; attorneys hired by the Osages see that the 1868 treaty is not ratified.
